Sonoma: two starts, two wins

You can’t ask for much more from a debut weekend. Tommy Pintos and I shared the #11 RWE Motorsport McLaren Artura Trophy EVO at Sonoma Raceway, and we won both races in the Pro-Am class.

Race 1: down to the wire

Saturday’s win came late. It was a last-gasp result that went right to the end, and exactly the kind of race where all the mental preparation pays off.

Race 2: from pole to the flag

On Sunday we started from pole. I took over after the mandatory pit stop and brought the car home to win by 15 seconds.

Two races down, eight to go. Next stop: Miami, racing on the Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend.
